A Swedish chain store called Monki had just opened in Mong Kok while we were there...believe me, we made many visits... too many that the staff started to recognise us... nevertheless, they had the coolest change rooms!!

Some new things...

Venessa and I went nuts at the Jil Stuart and Paul and Joe shops in Hong Kong...
My favourites: Jil Stuart hand cream, blush and lip balm
AND THIS MIRROR WAS FOR FREE!

rain and shine

The weather was so weird today. It started off being really beautiful and sunny, then it was suddenly grey and started raining. It's now back to being sunny again.

Oh yeah, new ring! I love iosselliani jewellery. You can wear the ring stacked or separately.

Haven't been to Tom & Tom's in a while. Their pepperoni pretzels are the best!

touch wood

Dad bought home an ipod dock/radio. The wooden surface against the white body looks really nice!

pointers

I pretty much live in ballet flats but recently I decided that I NEEDED a pair of comfy sneakers to wear occasionally to give my feet some rest. Since there's end of season sales going on, I went to Hype and got myself a pair of these Pointer sneakers.

So I haven't worn sneakers in ages and so as soon as I put my feet into these, my first reaction was, "WOW, THESE ARE SO COMFY!!". I forgot how comfy sneakers truly are. The sneakers are a mix of canvas and suede with cute stripe detailing inside the shoes which are visible even when they're worn. I got them on sale so if you guys are lucky, they still might be available. :)

The Karen Walker fans would recognise these shoes, they collaborated together to create limited edition boat shoes for "The Village" AW10 collection.

welcome to nowhere

1. Stolen Girlfriends Club "Welcome to Nowhere" tee, Alpha60 cardigan

2. Necklace from the Fringe Markets.

The tee is actually a mens' tee. I love big and over-sized tees, I can wear it as a top or a dress and it covers any bumps and bulges. Hehe. I bought the tee from Moku, it's a small boutique on Oxford St and it's one of my favourite stores. Go check out their blog! They stock amazing pieces from labels such as up and coming Australian designer, Carly Hunter, Twenty-seven names, Karen Walker jewellery and sunglasses... and more. The SA nearly convinced me to get an amazing Carly Hunter merino cardigan as well, but luckily (and sadly) I resisted. Speaking of which, I am super excited about her S/S '11 collection, "Non Ho Sonno". I can't wait to see more images of her collection! Sheer fabrics & dots ♡
